Our screening bundles allow us to learn information about your dog or cat's health which can only be found from collecting a sample of blood and urine, and having it analyzed.

A Complete Blood Count (CBC) identifies and quantifies white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets in a given amount of blood. This includes analyzing the shape and condition of the cells for health and functionality. This information is helpful in learning more about our patient’s immune system (white blood cells) and oxygen carrying capacity (red blood cells).

Because chemicals found in the blood stream can also correlate with specific organs, lab work can help determine more than just blood count. For example, if your dog's blood test shows a low level of albumin, then your veterinarian knows to examine the dog’s liver because albumin is produced by the liver. This may result in recommending the Screening Bundle WITH ultrasound to evaluate the liver further.

Bloodwork and a urinalysis for your pet can also detect and help identify complex problems with body systems. These lab tests serve as very valuable tools in a veterinarian’s toolkit for helping to detect, identify, diagnose and even treat illness or disease in your pet.

From now until the end of July we are offering 15% off our Screening Bundle with Ultrasound and our Screening Bundle without Ultrasound.

This is a great time to have your pet's regular yearly bloodwork completed. This bloodwork could also be used as pre-anesthetic bloodwork for an upcoming surgery/procedure.

*Cannot be combined with any other offer/discount

*If your pet has not been seen by one of our veterinarians in the past year, an exam at an additional cost must be completed prior to or with your pet’s screening bundle
