Angela Fehr

Angela is our Controller/Director of Administration. Angela is a huge asset to our team by bringing her experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). She attended the University of Manitoba where she received her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with degrees in both accounting and finance. From her long list of accomplishments you can see that Angela is excellent with numbers and financial decisions — just what we needed! Angela joined the Central Vet team in January of 2017, and now looks forward to seeing pets of all sizes walk by her office. When not at work Angela enjoys various sports and physical activities, reading, puzzling, and gardening. Angela was raised in Holland, Manitoba but now resides in Morden, Manitoba. 

 

Sally Dickinson

Sally is our Office Manager. She is most often found behind the scenes ensuring things are running as smooth as possible! Occasionally, she can also be found answering phones, checking in patients, or wherever she is needed to help our clients and patients. When starting in March of 2013 Sally brought with her over 20 years of experience in finance, operations, and customer service. Sally is hardworking, organized, and has been an incredible addition to our team. Sally has enjoyed getting to know our clients and learn more about the veterinary profession, she has even acquired a cat named Salem since working with us. When not at work Sally enjoys travelling to hot destinations and spending time with friends and family -- her husband and 2 sons. Sally was born and raised in Winnipeg. 

 

Reception

Amanda Phelan

As a receptionist, Amanda is one of the friendly faces or voices you will first encounter upon visiting or calling Central Veterinary Services. She joined the team in 2008 as a receptionist, and after a short leave after the birth of her son, and now her daughter, has returned. Amanda excels at multitasking and has obtained certificates from both MediCal and Hill’s, expanding her knowledge to better assist our clients. Since arriving at CVS, Amanda has enjoyed learning about large animal medicine, which was something she knew very little about before starting. When not at work, Amanda stays very busy with her kids, involving them in many activities. She enjoys down time with her kids and husband, and going for walks. Amanda has male orange tabby cat named Duece, and a golden retriever named Gus. Amanda is originally from Calgary Alberta.


Carlyn Ireland

Carlyn is one of the friendly faces or voices you may encounter upon visiting or calling Central Veterinary Services. She joined our practice in the Spring of 2013 as a full time receptionist and has been with us ever since. Carlyn is much more than just a receptionist, she jumps for the opportunity to help us in the back with nail trims and is also a master of our inventory. Carlyn has made some recent additions to her tribe, she now has 4 horses named Kai (quarter horse), Breeze (thoroughbred), River (percheron) and Dancer (quarter horse), a donkey named Dominick, along with her mastiff mix named Leroy and 4 cats. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding and practicing yoga. Carlyn is Winnipeg born and raised.

Ana Yegorova

Ana is one of the friendly faces you will first see when coming in for a visit or the cheerful voice when making a call. Ana started at Central in May of 2013 as a hospital assistant, splitting her time between reception and helping around the clinic. Her favorite part of the job is meeting our great clients and their pets, working with the rest of our staff, trips out to the farm, and, of course, puppy cuddles! Ana enjoys learning new things and being active. When not at work Ana enjoys hiking, fishing, and horseback riding. Ana owns a thoroughbred named Hesitate, and a weimaraner mix named Russell. Ana was born in the Ukraine, and is multilingual.

 

Kendra Tod

Kendra is one of our part-time receptionists that you may encounter when visiting our practice, or phoning to book an appointment. Kendra started at Central Vet in October of 2016. Her favourite part of the job is meeting our great clients and their pets, and learning all there is to know about veterinary medicine! When not at work Kendra enjoys travelling and volunteering. Kendra owns a ragdoll named Nala, and a german shepherd named Kovu. Kendra was raised in West Hawk Lake, Manitoba before moving to Winnipeg. 

 

Lindsey Hayes

Lindsey joined our team in September 2017 after completing her Veterinary Office Assistant Diploma at Robertson College! Her smiling face is a welcomed addition to our team! When at work Lindsey enjoys meeting all the amazing clients and animals that come into the clinic. In Lindsey's spare time she enjoys hosting BBQ's and bonfires in her backyard, watching the Winnipeg Jets play, and spending time with friends and family. She has a dog named Kona and a cat named Felix. Lindsey was born in Winnipeg, but was raised in Kenora, ON. Although Lindsey still loves spending time in Kenora, ON she now resides in Winnipeg, MB once again. 

 

Jennifer Adams

As a receptionist, Jennifer is one of the friendly faces or voices you will first encounter upon visiting or calling Central Veterinary Services. Before joining our team in August 2017, Jennifer spent 34 years  teaching in the public education system. Her favourite things about working at Central is meeting new people and their pets, and working with an upbeat, enthusiastic group of people who all are working towards the same goal - animal health. In Jennifer's spare time she likes to spend time with her family, and do volunteer work for local rescues. She has a german shepherd named Cayman, and a yorkshire terrier named Daisy. Jennifer now resides nearby in Sanford, MB with her husband, son and stepdaughter. 

 

Nadine Carreiro

Nadine joined our team in May 2018, after spending many days volunteering here at Central Vet! Nadine is one of the friendly faces you may meet at our reception desk, and does dabble as a hospital assistant as well! She is soaking in all the experiences at our clinic as she will be starting her endeavor through the Veterinary Technology program at Red River College in Fall 2019. Her favourite aspect of the job is the opportunity to spend time and learn about large and small animals! When not at work Nadine likes to spend her time going to the park with her dog, and prepare in any way she can for her upcoming semester. She has a 2 year old dog named Mayo. Nadine was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB.
